what is it?
Hi there
I have just come out of a same sex relationship with a guy who was diagnosed manic depressive and bi polar. Ithasnow come to light that during our 3 years together he led a promiscuous clandestine double life having regular sexual encounters with several men, most of whom I know. I suspected it all along but he always threw a tantrum when confronted.I need to put closure but need to know if this behaviour is symptomatic of the condition? he seems absolutely remorseless and will not admit eventhough i have ist hand proof. I have asked him to get help but he says there is nothing wrong with him.I feel sorry for him as this will just perpetiuate into his future relationships aswell.

Dear Jugular
while in the manic phase of bipolar depression, people often do things without thinking - recklessness, poor judgement and inflated self-esteem as well as agressive behaviour can be found.
