the chances are lower, but not nil, depending on the quality of the condom, whether it breaks or slips, whether it has holes in it, whether you put it on right.
All in all your risk is much lower if you use
1. condoms made of latex (rubber).
2. the package say that the condoms are to prevent disease.
3. the condoms are not past expiry date
4. You only use lubrication that is safe for condoms like KY jelly (not vaseline)
