3 year old throwing tantrums
My wife looks after a 3 year old boy during working hours since 3months old. For some reason he wants to either hold her hand (even when playing with toys) or be picked up all the time. We believe that this habit is nurtured by the kid's mum. He throws wild tantrums if anyone should attempts separate him from my wife. He is in all other aspects a very cute lad.
Any advice from you and the readers would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You.

Dear Hubby,
Let's see what our other readers suggest, espcially those with more recent experience of 3 year-olds. But at that age, we're deep into tantrum territory, and this usually passes. SOunds also like an issue of separation anxiety in regard to his mom, afecting both the boy and the mom, with both being a bit too clinging ; and he transfers this clinging onto your wifef as the other caregiver. Has she ( and you ) discussed this with his mother ?
