Dear Senior Citizen,
The recommended site can be useful for all our readers : I have checked it out, and it includes the Package Inserts ( those fiddly bits of white paper you ought to get tucked into your pack of pills ) for most drugs marketed in SA. But don't find them too intimidating ! For instance, they are required to list all even reasonably common possible side-effects --- the side-effects are not compulsory, and no-one will get all of them.
At your age, if the Alzam is suiting you and you find you only feel the need to take it occasionally, then it's probably OK --- possible dependency problems arise in people who take them several tiems a day, every day. In such situatons, it's wise to see a psychologist for help in learning other non-chemical ways to cotnrol anxiety symptoms, so as to be able to GRADUALLY cut down the sedative drug.
And also just be cautious that a drug like Alzam can have effects like alcohol in reducing your driving skills.
