Anger/Stress Management
In the last few months I have found myself struggling more and more with handling stress and releasing anger.
I used to be an easy going person, but now I find simple things, that others will brush off, are driving me insane.
My anger/stress management skills are non-existent. And the more I bottle up, the more things anger me.
I get so worked up and eventually after a time I'll explode... which is usually a heap of tears on my boyfriends shoulder. Thankfully he is supportive!! :)
Why would I have changed so? Is it due to an increase in stress? It's hard to tell if my stress has increased, or if I just can't handle it as well as I used to.
What can I do to become my old self? Blowing off steam to my boyfriend sometimes helps, but - honestly - I don't even want to get to the point where things bother me that much - I want to rather feel like it's water off a duck's back.
Any suggestions?

Well, counselling with a good therapist, focussing on anger management techniques, could help a lot. You ask a highly relevant question, though, as to WHY this should have BECOME a problem, when apparently it was not so, before. An increase in ambient stress may have cotnributed --- but if as you suggest it may be more that your capablity to handle stress that has decreased, when one wonders why that may be --- loss of previously reliable supports, deveoping a depression or physical ailment, whatever, all matters worth exploring in counselling.
