Back in the rat race
Hi CS and Everyone

I decided to take a break away from home and the hustle and bustle of everyday, by visitng family members over the holidays.
It felt good, but I find that I am now more depressed than ever.
I woke up this morning and decided to focus and get out of this mood, but I dont know where to begin, as I feel overwhelmed by the tons of problems I am faced with.
My job has become redundant and I have not yet seen anything else out on the market.I overspent over the Xmas season. We do not get any bonuses, yet I felt I needed to spoil myself and my kids as it was a difficult 2004 for all of us.
My marriage is falling apart, because my husband is not contributing financially and I have grown tired of this.I have tons of bills to pay and not enough money to do so.
I need to regain focus and get out of this rut, but I dont know where and how to even begin doing so.
I know I should take it one day at a time, but there is not enough time. Please help me as I have become tired of just having to fight to survive.I want to live a happy life, which I feel I deserve as I did not have a fulfiiling childhood, or life thus far.

Best wishes for everyone in 2005.

Well, overspending didn't help much towards finding solutions. Counselling would have been an excellent present for yourself, as it can so well focus on these issues of setting priorities and sorting out your problem-solving skills.
