I really don't think so. I'm not going to enter into yet another discussion of this tired topic. Hypnotherpy cures absolutely NOTHING. Occasionally, when used by a properly trained and qualified shrink, it can be a useful PART of a treatment plan, and should never be sought from someone without a full shrink's qualifications. Asking for hypnotherapy usually indicates a person is wanting magic --- a painless, miracle cure needing no hard work. That's a bad sign.
You are describing a bad habit and a lack of self-control, and should work on this with a shrink in proper psychotherapy / counselling
