conf, Paul knows what he's talking about, here. Firstly remember that the info paper inside any box of tablets has to list almost ANY side-effect experienced when anyone has taken it, although most of them don't trouble most people. And as Paul says, most side-efects are experienced in the early days on a medication, as one's body re-adjusts to their presence and their beneficial effects : they rarely persist. There are sevral ways of looking at side-effects. Their presence is proof that the drug is present in significant amounts in the body ( good news, if there isn't enough of it around, it can't possibly work ) and several of he side-effects prove that it is present in the right places, where you need it to be, for it to do its job right ( others are becaue there's no way to prevent it from also having some effects in parts of the body where you don't need it to work). And because to be effective it needs to work on specificchemicals at specific parts of the brain that deal with anxiety, etc., it's perhaps not surprising that when it first arrives and starts re-adjusting the chemicals that are in too low a quantity there, they can initially over-shoot slowly, and stir up some of the symptoms it will in a short space of time, be getting rid of.
