Depression and thoughts of death
Good day
I have recently moved to Nigeria and am here with the love of my life.We dated 5 years ago and have resumed the relationship after a 3 year break-up. Things are great and we could not be happier.

I am worried however because I sometimes get obsessed with thinking about if something would happen to him. I don't like these thoughts and don't want to think about it - how can I cure this? It's especially bad when he travels and I imagine what could go wrong. Please help

I'm sure both KC and Nadine would be even more loveable without these obsessive fears. Indeed, a form of Obsssive-Compulsive disorder is a real possibility, as one of the commonest themes for obsessions, is a fear of harm coming to someone you love, or of somehow unwittingly causing harm to others. Se a shrink for a proper assessment. If it is OCD< medicaions as well as CBT culd help ; if it's not OCD, but an obsessive personality trait, then counselling could well help.
