Don't mean to offend!!
Hey Guys. I don't know how you all feel but I hate the way this country is going. I don't mean to sound negative but I can't help just hating blacks. Don't get me wrong, I'm not racist, I just hate everyone. I hate men, the way that they look down on woman. I am quite highly qualified and am determined to get far. I'm a single mother of two (both fathers walked out on me while I was pregnant), I went for a 3rd interview this morning, and if I get the job they will pay for me study further. BUT I work in a very male dominated environment (engineering) and the way I feel lately, I just don't know. It seems to me that white woman are really getting the short end of the stick. White males won't let woman or blacks take over their jobs. Blacks are getting first option at available jobs, they have more disposable income, they get the bursaries, it seems they are getting everything and yet I don't see them working so hard. Their attitudes haven't changed, just got worse actually. Maybe I'm just PMS but the way I feel boy oh boy, we white gals have to really stick together. We are at the bottom of the feeding chain.

The comments about the risks, whatever the justice or prejudice of one's initial grievance, of inhabiting the victim role, are worth thinking about, very carefully.
And there is a widespread reluctance to face the fact that requiring some curent generations to suffer, to avenge undoubted wrongs done to previous generations, and so as to benefit another group, some of whom have not themselves suffered at all, does create problems, when the whole issue deserves much more careful study and thinking through, and less knee-jerk reactions on all sides.
And remember, though there is a rather small circle of people profiting hugely from the current situation, and they're very noticeabl, I don't see the great majority of people in the country, black or white, sharing the ostentatious wealth of the few, with their multiple jobs and perks.
I'm troubled, in the discussions, by the not-so-much racist thinking, as the we-they thinking. There's the "Them" is usually help, when I see Them in need, and the "You whites". Rather than thinking about what's troubling US.
