Don't understand his behaviour...
I met a guy 5 months ago at a friend's birthday party.
We hit it off straight away.
I have asked my friend to please tell me whether or not he is a jerk or a good guy. According to all acounts "he is one of the last good ones!."
Great, I thought! I am so fed up with bastards and self-obsessed men I can scream.
BUT, a month ago he starting acting weird.
He didn't call for days on end.
When he eventually made contact, I asked him what was up and he said he had 'some issues'. These issues obviously had to do with me.....
I told him if he wanted out, he can go without feeling guilty. I am a big girl and I will be fine. He said he didn't want to end things. He just needed time to think. He said he needed to figure out whether or not we're compatible.
That has been over two weeks ago! I haven't heard a thing since. No phone calls, no sms's, no emails, no nothing.
I know he came back to Cape Town on Saturday and thought he would at least have the decency to phone and say: "I am just not that into you." But, nothing.
What the hell happened????? Did I miss something??
I am baffled. I have never been broken up with this way. I am 31; he's 37. I didn't expect a guy his age to be so immature/scared/such a coward.
If any of the guys on this forum can tell me what happened or what's going on I would be grateful. I know it's over, I just need to understand why he did it this way??

Thanks very much for listening!
