Fraternal Twins - mental disorders
Hey CS, you know what Ive just realised which is very interesting. I have been diagnosed with bipolar and my twin brother has had schitzophrenia for the last 15 yrs. Dont you think thats strange? Im sure there is some kind of link here. Im going to find some more info on twins and mental disorders. This is really interesting now. Why didn't I think about this earlier on? What do you think?

Interesting indeed, nadine ! There could be some deree of overlap between the two conditions, and their heritability. Illnesses differ as to how much of a risk of developing them one can inherit. Check out the family history more broadly --- your parents, their sibs, grandparents, ditto. Sometimes, sibs may share the way they respond to particular drugs more than others, too
