how do I make sure that we are onthe same page. or maybe i am overreacting.

she is 34yrs and im the same age. she is married with 4 kids and im single with 1 kid.

she got married in 2000 and is always complaining that the hubby is not giving him affection and he listens to his mother and that he wont recommend pedi guys for anyone/ hubby does not help with the kids home work and he chooses to work shifts rather than spending time with family.

sometimes i feel that she complains too much and that is all that we talk about when we are together. am i wrong to feel this way?

i also have problems and share them with her once and then seek ways to deal with them.

i stay in the city centre and she is at the surburb. and we are 25 kms apart. lately she would call after 19h00 and request that i must take her home cos she missed the bus. i refused, stating that i am tired and needs to rest since tomorrow is another day for work. she gets upset and does not understand why i cant help her.

missing the bus has always been the trend for the past 2yrs. she comes to town to shop or attend presentations for network marketing that she does and would call to say that she missed the bus. i bought a car 8 months ago and he says i do not want to help her. is this fair?

she is a housewife and only held one job, for about 6 months.

I don't know of any way to get on the same page other than by communicating with each other and discussing this and all other issues.
