Ive got to get out of my job, I hate it!! But the problem is that I dont want to work in this industry anymore. Im no good at my job, and the only part that I do enjoy Im crap at it. So its pretty clear that I need a change of career. But what do I do? Ive never known what I want to do, I ended up taking my current job due to lack of options. So if I quit what the hell am I going to do?? Im 28 and hating my life and have no idea how to change things.
Several times a week I get messages from people who hate their jobs --- so apparently there's a lot of this about !
If there's a part of the job you do enjoy, even if you're not very good at it YET, isn't there a way, maybe with assistance from the company, you could get further training so as to BECOME good at it, and then look for other jobs that would use this skill ? And here I mean not studying for academic qualifications necessari ly, but for skills enhancement. Also, consider seeing a psychologist who does vocational guidance, who can do testing to clarify what are your main interests, and what are your main areas of skill.
