help
hi i have a son who suffers with a constant running stomach,doctor says he has a sicological problem, is it true and what advice can you give me? he is only seven years old but if i give him stomach medicine and his tools become hard he does not mess on himself only when his tools are loose. once his not given midicine the tools are constanly loose. the doctor put him on antidepressant tablets and did not help but now wants to give him a stronger dose, which im not happy about cause i fear it. what can i do and let me know if the doctor is right or wrong.

Its not l;ikely that long-term diarrhoea would be due to psychological reasons. Best have him see a more specialized doctor, pehaps a pediatrician or a child psychiatrist, either privately or at a sate health clinic
