What would any of you do if you were told that some of the people in the company did not like you, would you just ignore them or still carry on greeting these people?

It would depend on who was telling me, and what their motives were ; who it was who supposedly doesn't like you, and why. But I would still greet them, politely, if no warmly, and remain better than people who are apparently gossipping. Leave them in the wrong --- you don't need to join them there
