I am so insecure
How can I deal with insecurities? I am very insecure. If i could I would lock my husband in a cage & not let him out. I do not show my insecureties to him. I am not posessive and don't even mention that I am feeling the way I do. I don't check up on him and go through his stuff. But I worry the whole day about other woman. He doesn't give me reason to be worried, I am just feeling threatened by anyone and anything that might get close to him. Anyone is a threat to me. Even his family. I have been in therapy for many years, but these insecurities have always been there with every relationship I have ever been in. It doesn't go away. What else must I do? I am driving myself insane. I would like it to not worry.

My selfasteem in general is fine. I do well in my job and with all people I am confident. But I am always worried that I will loose the person I love, even though it goes well. I do not know what to do!! Can it be a disorder of some kind? Please help.

See a counsellor --- that's the best way to work through the insecurities, and develop personal strength. YOu need to work on enhacing your self-esteem and self-confidence, realising that he has no need or wish to go elsewhere, and you'll become more able to enjoy your relationship with hi in a relaxed way, and to make it more enjoyable for him, too
