is my blushing physcological or medical?
my face and neck goes really red easily when i experience certain emotions/situations e.g when meeting someone, if i talk to someone attractive, when im put on the spot infront of people, in difficult conversations, when i walk into a room full of strangers and sometimes just for nothing! it wear down on my confidence and makes it difficult for me to talk to people! its been happening throughout my life to me and my sister. is this a medical condition or in my head?
Yes ! Blushing is both physical and psychological. It can be related, and sounds like this in your description, to social anxiety disorder, which responds very well indeed to treatment, with meds and/or with CBT style counselling.
