legal help
Someone in the office has been caught with their hnd in the till. We were willing to help them as they confessed (although I think it was as she knew the jig was up) - my boss wants her to sign something to protect herself against it as it will ber her word against ours and she has to repay a lot of money.

If she was stealing from the office, why on earth would any honest boss worry about protecting HER ? And if she has confessed, then there's little room for doubt that she did it. ---or is Joanne E right, that the aim is to get her to sign a formal confession, to protect the boss and everyone else in the office ?
