Doc, about me needing people around me. I have never been one to like people being around me. Now and then was ok. But I see such beautiful relationships between friends that I never really noticed before. I appreciate the communication and "love" between people, friends and lovers, more then ever before. I miss everybody and I don't know why? I want to speak to everybody, from the man who sells me Chinese food to my worst enemy. I now value them all. I want to love - everybody? I need closeness more then anything now and I dont know why. I dont hate anybody anymore. It's so easy to forgive. I always land up being the listener in a conversation. Most people don't want to hear your story, they want you to listen to theirs and that's ok with, I just love the friendship that forms. Why? I show loyalty towards a person very quickly after befriending them and get hurt ALL the time. I value things that are making me miserable because people are not looking for the same thing. I feel like I am not living if I dont have interaction. I want to understand everybody. Why they reason the way they do. Why they do the things they do. Why they behave and react the way they do. We are all the same, its wonderful.

Dear Nina,
Sounds like a mixture of effects. Even the most self-sufficient of us can get to feeling lonely, for instance. Noticing sustaining relatonships between other friends, may make you more desirious of such a relationship yourself. But then it also sounds as if you might be going a bit overboard on this ( like someone at the early stages of a Bipolar Disorder, getting a bit manic and high might ) --- you seriously want to understand EVERYBODY ? Good grief, some people are truly ugly enough that one wouldn't want to understand them, and there are probably many people who wouldn't want you to understand them.
Seriously, about the Bipolar theory, are you noticing any other related features of a high, like feeling extra energetic, sleeping less, etc ?
