Public & Private schools
My child is in a public school and I must say I am very dissappointed. Its not like we pay low down fes for this school iether, R600 a month so I expect my child to be well cared for and educated. Well, they just dont give a damn about the children. Being a working mother one expects to have things done that our mothers used to do with us......Homework, extra murals etc. My son has never played sports before, and I was excited when he went to grd1 that he will start doing some excercises and make friends. Oh No the minute my son roamed off kicking a ball, he got chased off the field and told that he was fired from soccer. I mean common. he s 6, and the coach should hae told him to stand still and listen. Now the inter house athletics, we were told to have the colour shirt of the house teams which i had to go and buy, sure no problem, I packed a pICHNIC BASKET AND MY HUSBAND WHO OWNS HIS OWN COMPANY TOOK THE MORNING OFF so we could both watch our child run. surprise surprise he had to sing. what is that about. why even bother going, it was interhouse not inter school.

I am now going to enroll him into a private school for next year where i know i will get my moneys worth.

what is your oppinion?
