My friend and I decided to take a break from our friendship as he was having problems and we think that things started getting complimented. The rules are that we are not allowed to see each other as often as we used to but we still speak about 5-6 times a day. Out of the 5-6 times, he calles me twice. My questions are as follows:
1. I think I'm calling him too much, and have decided to stop to give him the space. Is this a good idea??
2. There is a saying that goes if you chase something it will run away from but once you stop chasing and run in the opposite direction, the person/thing you were chasing will turnaround and chase you. I have decided to make myself scarce for about a week and not call him and not see him at all. Would this make him lose interest in our friendship?
3. He normally calls me in the morning, should I ignore the calls completely, but this could possibly make him lose interest or should I take his calls have a brief conversation, but still stick to my original idea and not call him at all?
