Ruler no more rules
I know that Ruler was not a popular person on this forum, but i knew him personally and what a change of attitude he has gone through the past 6 months === from a vicious, scary, bloody strong big built giant who feared no person walking on this earth, to a calm, more tollerant kind individual who even started to go to Pick a PAY on a Sunday, buying loads of food and groceries, riding into JHB City Centre and feed the poor on the streets, specially the street kids around the Carlton Centre.
They knew his black BMW 645 I so well that when he drove into " town " they stood up and cheared him before they sat down for a good meal===most probably the only meal for the week.
Ruler was killed on New Years day when he helped a woman from Cape Town during a hijacking insident. He managed to kill one hijacker, brake the second one's back before shot by the 3rd one. They fired 7 bullets into him before he collapsed. At that point in time he was strangeling the third one who's neck was broken in the scrap that followed, before Ruler died.
I just wished you people could have known him, what a pitty.

Dear NLM, thanks for telling us, though the news is awful. Actually, I remember Ruler as a sincere guy with deep feelings, who said what he thought, who learned to be more patient, caring and effective. If what you describe was how it happened, then it's doubly sad that a good guy died in a noble act, and at the hands of scum. I hope the two hijackers who were injured will not escape justice just because of their injuries --- they deserved the fate that befell them, as their victims did not.
