Hoping someone is able to give me some advise! I am married with 2 sons! Hubby works long hours and travels quite a bit. Seldom seems to have time for me and the kids! I am feeling so lonely and lost! Have been together for 10 years and the last 2 have been really stressful! I feel so unappreciated and tired of being on my own all the time! I don't seem to be able to do anything right anymore! Asked for a divorce last year September and as of yet, neither of us has made a move! Just so tired of the same crap every day! Need to break out of this rut! I feel buried alive! Feel as if my life is passing me by! I don't want to go clubbing, but I want someone to come home to at night and who will chat to me whilst I make supper! Some one to have a drink with whilst we cook, chat, etc. Instead, I am alone with my boys and expected to do everything on my own! Might as well be single! Am I going thru a mid life crisis! He is 45 and I am 35.

Why bnot talk him into oining you in marriage counselling, before leaping into a divorce ? It can be cheaper and if the problems can be sorted out, what a bonus ; if not, then if you do decide to proceed to a divorce, at least you may each inderstand more about how these problems arose, with a better chance of avoiding them in future.
I wonder whether he's struggling with the job. and tense about that ? Some jobs place very unreasonable demands on the worker, and expect loads of extra-time, placing strains on marriages, but implying that if he doesn't like the extra work, he can leave. I wonder if there is any way he can modify his working methods, to give himself, as well as you, some relaxed time at home ?
