Update on Fiancees Behaviour
Hey all
Just wanted to fill you in on my fiancees behaviour as mentioned a few weeks ago.
I booked him in at a psychiatrist, who went beserk when they found out that he was on the Eglynol and have put him onto the same medication as myself, Lorien.
He also apparently has traits of OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) but it's not major and doesn't need to be medicated.
I'm really glad that he went because he learnt that hasn't inherited his temper he learnt it from his dad.
So anyway it's been a breakthrough and all is going well, I'll wait till the Lorien kicks in.

Thanks for the update, ~Wings~,
And Lorien might well help the obsessive traits, too. I'd probably have shared the psychiarist's response.
Eglonyl is NOT an antidepressant, and I've seen no good evidence that it should ever be used to treat real depression, or OCD. In other major countries I haven't even seen it used, but it seems peculiarly popular in SA, especially among GPs, to whom it seems to have been sold as a cure-all, to use when you can't make up your mind what the diagnosis is, on the argument that it might help almost anything.
