What Does "I Want space" mean?
I would like to know from a man's point of view, what "I want space" mean when you are married to a woman?
My husband tells me that he wants space. When I ask him what I've done wrong he tells me that not everything is about me. He is stressed at work, so could it be this?
When he says he wants space, does it mean I must not contact him during the day and not talk to him when he is at home? What is a man's definition of space?

See a marriage counsellor together, rather than rely on any particular definition of this vague request by him. He is probably finding it difficult to cope with stresses at work, and wanting to minimize any demands on him at home, while he tries to deal with those --- but would probably do better if he got counselling help to deal with those other stresses more directly. Space is rarely as useful as people think.
