8 month female cat - not eating, very weak since last week

My 8 month female cat had stopped eating for about a week and lost a lot of weight. At the moment she is very weak and refuses to eat. I have given her water every day which she does drink. I wanted to take her to the PDSA mobile unit today but they did not pitch up and will only be there on Monday again.

she appears too weak to walk either. she just sits or lies down staring. her eyes look opaque. sometimes it appears that she is not "there". I am extremely concerned.

about a week and a half ago she caught a pigeon. we also had a company spray for fleas in our house. not sure if that would give some kind of direction. but I fear that the cat will not last that long.

please help.

ps i can't afford a vet.

Hi Thomas - I am not a vet, but it sounds as if your cat is seriously ill and unless you want to lose her I suggest you take her to a vet or your local SPCA or PDSA as soon as possible. Some vets are happy to open an account which you can pay off.
