Cat Flu in dogs
A friend of ours' puppy passed away last week from Cat Flu (or so the vet said). I was not aware that this affected dogs. Does it? And if so, what are the symptoms in a dog?
Thanks!
Thanks!
"Cat Flu" is the common name for parvovirus infection. This is an extremely rapid and often fatal infection by the parvovirus, but can be prevented by vaccination. Symptoms include profuse vomiting and bloody diarrhoea, followed by rapid dehydration and weakness, and ultimately death if not treated aggressively.
