Creaking joints in younger dogs
I have a 18moth old and a 4-5 year old - both female dogs.

I was wondering if it is normal for dogs of this age to have creaking joints / snapping joints. I often hear their joints go POP when they get off the couch or run up the stairs.

I've read somewhere that some type of parasitic infections can have joint/disk problems as a side effect if it has been untreated for a long time?

Or is this pure chance & nothing to worry about? They don't seem to be in pain or reluctant to move around at all as was the case with a elderly border collie we had?

It is unlikely that an occasional popping or creaking of the joint is really a problem, unless associated with pain or lameness.
