Depressed Dog
Hi, i have a boerbull and i think that there is something seriously wrong with him! When he was "growing up", he grew up on a huge property where he had lots of space to move around, now we have moved to a small property, where he doesn't have much space. He's not being obidient, and all he wants to do is sleep all day! Do you think he needs to be on a bigger property? Do you think i should find a new home for him, maybe on a plot or farm? This dog is also very agro, so he seems a little frustrated.

Hi D
It sounds as if your dog is sick. Have you had him checked out by the vet? I would seriously recommend this to start with. If he is healthy then it is possible that he is "depressed" due to being on a smaller property. However most dogs are very adaptable and he should settle in in time. I would suggest you take him for daily walks, preferably where he can run off lead (or on a long loose lead) safely. You could also try giving him a view out, allowing him in the house and giving him more interesting meals. Chewy toys like cowhooves may also help.
