dog battles to walk on front legs
I have a 5 yr old chow x American pitbull. for the past 3 days we've noticed that she battles to get up when lying down and it seems her front legs are the problem. i wouldn't say she's over weight but she weighs about 35kg (so said my vet)
Could she be too heavy to support her own weight?
she's not really an active dog but sometimes i see her playing with the jack russell and runing around the garden.
have you heard of this heappening before and what could the cause be? her back legs seem fine!

They are so many different possibilities that it is impossible to answer this question. However, it is clear that your dog is in pain. Please do not allow this to continue. Take your dog to your veterinarian for an examination and to relieve it of pain.
