Dogs eating soil
Hi, for the past 2 weeks I have noticed that my dogs, 2 GSD, Rottweiler and daschund are eating soil from the garden. Do I need to supplement their diet with something. They are in a very healthy condition. Is this maybe just a way to get attention?

If all the dogs are doing it, and if they are on the similar diet, they may very well be deficient in some ingredient. A heavy worm burden may result in similar signs. Make sure they are well dewormed. Then, also feed them the best possible commercial diet you can afford. You can also obtain supplements with vitamins and iron from your vet which may help to resolve the problem.
