Good dogfood???
I have 5 dogs all over the age of 3yrs. The scotty got very fat over the past few months and the Boerbull and Pug has always been a bit " plump"
After consutling with the vet, I put them on measured quantities of Vets Choice. It is now 4 weeks into their new eating programme and the Scotty has not even lost a 100gm's, the Boerboel and pug is sporting very sexy little figures and the Belguim Shepard and Toy Pom are so skinny they look like toastracks. I started supplementing the Bel. Shep and ToyP's food by adding some of their old dogfood and tin food (and it appears to help) the problem is that their immune system seems to have taken a dip and they have runny noses and kennel cough.
I thought this food is so fantastic.... but is seems to lack vitamins that keep your pet healthy.
Any advice please?

The quantity that every dog is fed should be determined based on basic recommendations from the dog food company, but then the specific to each patient. That means that some dogs will get more and others will get less. This depends on upon their metabolism.
Kennel cough is highly contagious (just like the common cold in people) and generally has absolutely nothing to do with the diet (unless vastly and severely emaciated and underfed).
