Hyperactive cats
My cats came out of quarantine on Friday after 6 VERY long months. They have settled in quite well and it hasn't taken them long at all to take over the household!

The problem is that they are VERY active during the night. They run non-stop. This is not really a problem for me but I think the neighbours are getting a bit annoyed as we have wooden floors! How can I get them to be a bit more calm during the night. We have tried playing with them before bedtime but this hasn't worked at all.

By the way, they are indoor cats. Not a option to let them outside as we live in a rented apartment on the 2nd floor. They do however have lots of toys, plants, cat-trees, etc.

Any suggestions?

That is difficult because hey can eally stomp when flying around. Is there any way the area they run around can be carpetted?
