Kidney stones
My cat is around 2 years old and has recently been neutered.
Before I had him neutered he was diagnosed with Kidney stones and put on Hills cd.
He is however not improving and still has tremendous pain from time to time.
The vet said they could operate to remove them but this would be very costly and the only option if the food does not help.
Could you tell me what this would cost more or less and if there are any alternatives.

Depending on the type of bladder stones, surgery may be the only option. Only certain bladder or kidney stones can be dissolved. If your cat is in pain, it outweighs the costs of the procedure.
