Kitten and worms
Hi Doc,
I have a kitten that is about 6 to 7 weeks old. When we bought him he was about 4-5 weeks old. At 6 weeks we took him to the Vet for his shots and a de-wormer.
Ons Saturday we started noticing that he has a worm "discharge", small white worms, not a lot but two or three at a time, but just at night, or what we could see.
Is this normal and is it "harmfull" for us?

It is important that your cat be dewormed again. Young kittens and puppies should be dewormed frequently until about three months of age and then every three months until one year of age. Some of these worms can definitely be harmful to humans. Luckily, most dewormed risk can be extremely successful. For best results, go to your veterinarian and obtain a broad spectrum dewormer from him.
