neutered tom cat aged 5 with diahorea
hi my cat seems very hungry all the time and is suffering from diahorea. the diahorea has congeled blood in it, not a great deal of blood, i've change food with no effect. can you help?

Unfortunately, not much with out an examination. Possible causes to consider include infections with bacteria, or protozoa like coccidia and Giardia, and even worms. Food allergy can also not be absolutely excluded, even if you have changed brand names. Using a hypoallergenic commercial catfood may be worth a try if the infections have been ruled out. Your vet will have to examine the cat and the stools and possibly submit the stools to a laboratory for further investigation to look for this type of infection and prescribe specific treatment. "Blind" treatment with medication that you may be able to lay your hands on at shops, is unlikely to be successful. Specific diagnosis and specific treatment will be necessary.
