New dog in the house
I recently (5 days ago) got an 8 month old, spayed dachshund. She is well behaved and plays nicely with my Jack Russell (also female and 8 months old)
My issue is my cats - she never new cats and find them very interesting - to the point of chasing them and biting them.
Will she get use to them and how long will it take?
What can I do from my side?
Both cats are 2 years of age and male.

You will need to train the dog that the cats are family and even though they may all chase each other there must not be any biting. It may be necessary to use a Baskerville muzzle initially to stop the dog from biting the cats. How do the cats respond to being bitten?
