Sedatives for dogs
Are the sedatives for dogs available at pet shops or only at vets? What are the costs more or less of these sedatives? What kind of effect will it have on my miniature doberman pincher whilst driving for about 8 hours?

Sedatives are only available from your veterinarian, as they are scheduled drugs.

It is generally not necessary to sedate your dog before travelling. Also, if you do sedate the dog, make sure that the temperature is comfortable, not too hot or too cold.
