Verbal kitty
my cat is 7 months old has is very verbal.. everything she does she makes sounds.. they dont sound like shes in pain... but is this normal? when she jumps on the bed she makes a groaning sound im getting worried
Hi Bunny
Your cat is probably on heat (if she isn't spayed, of course). Cats start to come into season at about 6 months old during the summer months and will come on and off heat for a few months. They are very verbal and roll around a lot, trying to elicit attention from other cats and owners. I suggest you have her sterilised as soon as possible or you will have hundreds of kittens soon. If she is already spayed then she may just be a very verbal cat, which is normal up to a point. However it may be a good idea to have he checked by the vet in case she is in pain or discomfort. Excessive calling can also be a sign of over-attachment or separation anxiety, but this is uncommon in cats.
