1200kcal
I need to loose around 8-10 kg to be at my ideal BMI of 22. Could i follow the diet that is included with the Xenical tablets (I will not be taking the tablets though as it mentions that it could cause an allergy to the ingredients so i am not taking a chance but rather following the diet while my sister takes the tablets). I would like to know if this diet which is 1200calories per day would assist me to loose weight or is it too much calories? What is the ideal healthy amount of calories someone like me should be eating in a day to loose weight steadily and healthily? The diet looks interesting so i thought i would give it a shot after your opinion? ormaybe you have to take the xenical with that diet plan not sure?

In your opinion do you really think i would be allergic to any of the ingredients in the xenical if i got my own script from a doc, i suppose i will only know if i try one tablet and wait for a reaction, i really dont want to take something that will cause harm to me, so far i have never been on fad/pills and would like to keep it that way but also am tempted by the good talk of xenical. I am allergic to grass, certain preservatives i.e. the ones on dried fruit, dust and pollen.

Dear Bibs
Which diet are you referring to? The Slimming Diet published on this Website or a diet that is handed out by the dr when you get the Xenical tablets??? If it is a diet that is supplied with the Tablets then it is probably a very-low-fat diet and I cannot imagine that it would cause an 'allergy'. Try the diet by all means and see if it helps you to lose weight. If not, then try the low-fat, high-fibre diet on this Website which you can access by clicking on 'Diet' at the top of this page, 'Weight loss', and 'The Right Approach'. Combine such diets with regular exercise to obtain the best results.
