allergy to soya
REally battling with my 5 month daughter. Started formula (nan) when she was 3 months and she developed excema. Changed to isomil and her skin cleared up but she started waking up at night - once or twice, now every hour. Clinic sister insists that it cant be the isomil because she is growing well and generally happy. Could she be allergic to soya? If soya and diary are a problem - what do i do! Help !

Dear Janet
It is important that you have your daughter assessed for food allergies by a Paediatrician because as you say, you are running out of options for feeding her. It is possible that she is also allergic to soya, but waking up at night may also indicate that she is hungry. If you lassie is allergic to both cow's milk and soya you will have to consult the milk producers (check the baby formula tins for contact numbers) to find out which product she can use.
But do have her assessed before the situation becomes too complicated.
