Amount kj per day?
Sorry Doc, forgot to ask, for a 54y old, mildly active how many kj per day to loose weight please? Thanks!
Dear Lilly
Generally speaking it is recommended that adult women who are moderately active should reduce their energy intake to 6300 kJ per day to lose weight. Such a decrease in energy intake should cause a loss of 0,5 to 1 kg per week, esp if combined with exercise (e.g. going for a walk, cycling, swimming, gym, etc) for 30 min a day.
Best regards
