I' m constantly bloated, which means my tummy is ' always'  big, and I really don' t eat much. It started about 2 months ago when I was going through hormonal changes (estrogen dominance/progesterone deficient). Before this I used to be thin. It feels like anything I put in my mounth, even a piece of fruit, causes me to be bloated. Is there a relation between this bloatedness (maybe it' s water retention) and hormonal imbalance. I' m 39 years old.

Dear Jay
Bloating and an extended abdomen, usually indicate problems with the digestive system such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), ulcers, gallbladder malfunction, etc. It would be advisable to have a medical examination so that we can at least obtain a diagnosis. So please see your medical dr and once we know what is causing the bloating, I will be able to advise what dietary changes you need to make.
Best regards
