Calorie count and food types.
Hi,
I would really appreciate it if you could help me. I am running quite abit, so excersize is not a problem. I just wanted to know, I am sticking to a calorie controlled diet, trying to eat 1200 cals a day, will eating a small box of smarties or any other junk, that counts in with my calorie count, hinder my weight loss. I am a teenager, and a chocoholic, and am aware substituting a sandwich for choclate and fruit or yoghurt is not the healthy choice. But if I eat under 1200 cals a day? will what those calories are really significantly hinder my weightloss??? I eat healthy otherwise, yoghurt, salad, chicken protein and fruit.
please can you reply!
Thank You.

Dear Nikz
Having a small portion of smarties or jelly babies will not cause you to gain weight if you are otherwise eating a sensible balanced diet and doing plenty of exercise. Just don't overdo the chocs or the dieting.
Best regards
