If water helps your intake of carbs can drinking lots of water make you fat? And can lots of protien(protein drinks) make you put on weight even if it is low in fat?

Dear Dave
I am not sure what the first question is and what water has to do with carb intake? But drinking lots of water will NOT make you fat. If you happen to suffer from water retention due to heart or kidney problems, then the water retained in the body will make you puffy (oedema) and your mass will increase, but as soon as this water is lost via sweat or urination, your mass will drop again. As to your 2nd question: any food or drink if used in excess has the potential to cause weight gain - moderation is always the key.
