Constipation while on diet
I joined weight watchers a few weeks ago. Although I am trying to eat from all food groups, I have found I am constipated and my stomach only works every 3 days or so. Do you have any suggesstions on what I could eat or take to help me?

Buy some wheat bran at your health shop and initially use 1 teaspoon a day sprinkled over your breakfast cereal. Increase your intake of the wheat bran gradually until you are using about 1-3 tablespoons a day and your bowel movements have returned to normal. Exercise and moderate increases in fluid intake (3-5 extra cups of water a day) can also help.
