Diet Pills
Can you please tell me if the pill, Thinz, is safe. I bought it over the counter, but some people tell me it is not safe. Please help. Should I rather drink Duromine instead. It is more expensive. Can I buy it over the counter?

Dear Leigh
I am personally NOT in favour of appetite suppressants because they can all have negative side-effects, e.g. hypertension, central nervous system effects, psychotic episodes, problems with urination, palpitations, anxiety, etc. This also applies to Duromine (which has to be prescribed by a doctor). Any slimming product which contains pseudo-norepinephrine like Thinz can also lead to dependence. To lose weight you need to reduce your energy intake by eating a low-fat, high-fibre diet (Click on 'Diet' and 'Weight loss' and 'Slimming Diet') and increase your energy output by doing regular exercise. Rather use the sensible approach and change your lifestyle.
