Eating late
HI Diet Doc - I am about 20kgs overweight. I am doing about 4-5 hours of exercise a week and following a healthy eating pattern. For extra money I am working extra hours a few nights a week until 21h00. WIll it be harmful to get home after 21h00, make supper and eat at about 22h00, then go straight to bed (and wake up at about 5h45 for gym)?? Or should I try and make something to eat during my evening shift?

I think you would probably feel better if you make provision for a meal during your night shift (pack wholewheat bread with lean meat or fish and salads). You also need to eat a light snack Before you exercise - wholewheat toast or a small bowl of cereal and fat-free yoghurt and fruit juice, otherwise you will get hypoglycaemic.
