flaxseeds
mom suggested i eat flax seeds to feel good, im having 2 teas spoons a day of crushed ones. is that okay?? i wont pick up weight will i cause of the oil they contain. thank u
Dear Kiki
Flaxseeds contain 41 g of fat and 1890 kJ per 100g, so 2 teaspoons or 10 g will contribute 4.1g of fat and 189 kJ to your energy intake. 189 kJ equal 2,3% of your daily energy intake if you are not on a slimming diet and 3% if you are trying to lose weight. This is low enough that using flaxseeds will not affect your weight.
